I'm a web developer with strong attention to detail, creative problem solving skills, and a passion for building insanely useful web applications. I enjoy solving pain points of website users and leveraging internet technologies to provide a seamless customer experience. I am inquisitive and stay informed of emerging technologies and trends, and I am constantly improving my skills and techniques.

I am currently employed by Mindgruve, a leading digital agency headquartered in San Diego. At Mindgruve, I work on projects for clients in the healthcare and startup space. As a bonus, I work with some of the smartest people in the industry.

CSG Actuarial, LLC

At CSG, I was responsible for engineering our web application stack as we launched a complete redesign of our online quoting service. We built a restful API data service and utilized javascript MVC frameworks including Backbone.js

Business Owner

Midtown Tutoring, LLC

Bootstrapped a tutoring business and leveraged content marketing to find clients. Also managed the business included leasing an office space, paying taxes, keeping accounting records, marketing, and providing tutoring services.

Actuarial Assistant

Mutual of Omaha

Utilized mathematics, business knowledge, and actuarial principles to price products for Medicare Supplement division that accounted for one-third of company revenue.

B.A. in Applied Mathematics

University of California, San Diego

Studied Linear Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Physics, Quantum Mechanics, and completed a minor in Physics. Participated in the emerging leaders program and served as a resident advisor.
